I studied art in college, graduating with a degree in Art Education from Bowling Green State University, Ohio. I’ve taught art and worked as a professional artist. I’ve exhibited at art fairs, juried shows and galleries. I currently have work in the gallery shop at the Mansfield Art Center, Mansfield, Ohio.

My main medium at this time is oils.  I did watercolors for many years and still do. My approach to painting is impressionistic. I love color and use it liberally.

I enjoy being in the outdoors, having grown up in the country. It’s only natural that I would be drawn to plein air painting. Living in Ohio all my life, I’ve watched the changing of the seasons, noting all the colors and moods. It is an ever changing panorama I never grow tired of.
