Nora Daniel creates oil paintings derived from a variety of subject matter including landcapes created while in the great outdoors.

She focuses on color and space and attempts to convey the spiritual upliftment that arises during the activity of painting en plein air.

She has studied with the likes of Nelson Shanks and Jacob Collins while she was still living on the east coast. She has been in Ohio now more than a decade and lives with her family in Zanesville.

Daniel has had many one person shows, is in countless private collections and her work can be seen at the Columbus Museum of Art as well as at Marcia Evans gallery and at her website, noradaniel.com
You can reach her at norapainter@yahoo.com.  She welcomes commissions of people, places and objects.
