SHERI WALDROP

I have been creating art since early childhood, and combine my love of nature and wildlife in realistic oil and acrylic paintings of birds, landscapes and forest scenes. My goal is to create the sense of light and color that changes throughout the day. I also enjoy doing portraits as well, since the human figure holds endless fascination.

My works have been represented at several Michigan galleries, including ArtWorks, the Fremont Gallery, and Art Reach Gallery. I also won first place for portraiture and second place for landscape art in the Gilmer Art Festival in Texas. Cards based upon my bird art have been sold at retail establishments that include Wild Birds Unlimited (Columbus, Ohio) and various coffee houses in the area.
